Foulds Metals buy a wide variety of scrap metals ranging from non ferrous, which consists of copper, brass, aluminium, lead and Bronze, and ferrous. Which consists of light iron, mixed cast iron, turnings plate, girder and engines. We also offer scrap metal skip hire to industries and trades that have a large volume of scrap metal waste. Not only do we deliver, the skip is also free! Ranging in size between 8 and 40 cubic yards. At Foulds Metals we have an ATF, which means we are licensed to scrap vehicles. We have invested in the latest equipment to enable us to meet the requirements of the directives. So if You have an old car stuck at home and don't know what to do with it, call Foulds Metals and we will collect your car free of charge as long as it is in our 10 mile radius. We're also an Authorised Treatment Facility for end of life vehicles (ELVs), and are registered with the DVLA and approved by the environment agency. If you only have a small amount of scrap but come in every day or every week, we can keep your weight on account and pay you when you want to be paid. For any small amounts of scrap we have a charity metal skip on site, once weighed, any proceeds are donated to the RNLI. So far we've raised over £10,000! Due to the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013, we will need a form of photo ID, such as a passport or driving licence, or 2 utility bills (less than 3 months old) for the same address. It's actually now illegal to pay by cash for any scrap metal, so payment is made by cheque or direct to your bank account, so we will need your account number and sort code to be able to action this.
